Angel Olsen is an American artist and singer hailing who hails from St. Louis, Missouri who lives within Asheville North Carolina. Olsen's six studio albums include: Big Time, Half Way Home, Burn Your Fire for No Witness, and My Woman. My mom has the capacity to care for kids. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Olsen began performing in the city's cafes during her teenage years, eventually branching out and tapping into an artist community of similar interests. Her move from Missouri to Chicago in 2006 eventually working together with California singer-songwriter Emmett Kelly as part of his group called the Cairo Gang. All Mirrors was her 2019 album that featured dark, electronica that was almost gothic, and orchestral pop. Big Time, the first Olsen album to sing with a conscious about queer love and sexuality, is a genre which has a strong tradition: Country. It makes sense in a particular way.
